They already are – netflix allows you to download movies they have available based on your subscription fee. A DVD store is a bad idea – in a few years all movies will be able to be downloaded cheaply and easily and no-one will be buying DVD’s anymore. Netflix is already starting to make the transition.
Movies/games/music are already available online for download after payment. There are even websites that will stream content to you like sports games or tv shows if you pay a monthly fee.
